Destroy the Bridge Challenge After Effects, Photoshop January 2007

Was made for a contest on vfxtalk. The goal of the contest was to thake a provided picture of the Golden Gate Bridge and make a 5-6 seconds animation of destroying it.
I used Photoshop for mattepainting and After Effects to animate it. My goal was to make the animation without any 3d elements in the shot and animating it in After Effects without using any plugin. I came out on the third place. Nice.
